Who We Are

Robert Row
Rev. Robert Row
Youth Pastor

Robert Row was raised in Knoxville, TN, in a single-parent family, the youngest of four children. Robert served as a volunteer Young Life leader during his years at Tennessee Tech University, where he earned a degree in Environmental Science followed by a Masters Degree in Fisheries Biology in 1998.

He describes his call to ministry as a gradual process in which God repeatedly gave him ministry opportunities with children and youth. He served for ten years as Director of Youth and Family Ministries at Grace Presbyterian Church in Cookeville, TN. In 2009 he earned his M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte.

Robert and his wife Rebecca have been blessed with four children – Emily, Tyler, Campbell, and Laura. Robert and Rebecca's first child, Emily, is now in Heaven. On February 17, 2000, Emily was born with multiple heart defects and went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2000. Robert and Rebecca are now expecting another child this coming August. They now reside in Chattanooga where Robert serves as the Assistant Pastor to Youth and Families at First Presbyterian Church.

Carolann Chaplin
Carolann Chaplin
High School
Assistant Director

Carolann Chaplin has been a part of the youth ministry at FPCC since fall 2005. Initially serving as a college intern for three years, she joined the youth staff full-time as an Assistant Youth Director in May 2008 after her graduation from Covenant College.

Her call to youth ministry that she'd first recognized while a high school student, was strengthened and cultivated while at Covenant.

Her greatest passion is to see students grow in their understanding of the Gospel and grace, so that they will know how treasured they are by Christ, and who they can become through Him. In fact, she wants them to fully grasp that "Knowing Jesus Changes Everything!"

His call to and passion for youth ministry is evident in the changing lives of the young men he disciples.
